Preparation for Exams

The first step, and one of the most important, in the school and / or university application process is the admission exams. The results of these tests, together with other factors, will indicate which institution coincides with the academic profile of each student. The preparation we give at Terife Educational Services is comprehensive and individually adjusted to the profile and individual needs of each student.

Because exam preparation should not be left to the last minute, we, at Terife Educational Services, like to feel that we are “escorting” the students to prepare for exams, offering guidance from the moment they start their preparation until they take their final exams.

At Terife Educational Services, we prepare and accompany students in:

Regardless of whether the student wishes to take the test for a public or private university, there is a gap between the Venezuelan school content and that studied in Spanish schools. Therefore, these classes provide the necessary preparation for students wishing to equate their mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology knowledge for their admission to universities in Spain.

The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a standardized test of proficiency in the English language, specifically aimed at non-native American English speakers.

The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is the most widely used English test in the world for migration and higher education. It is jointly owned by the University of Cambridge, the British Council, and IDP IELTS Australia (British English).

The SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) is an admissions test used by most universities in the United States as well as some universities in other countries. It is a standardized multiple-choice test, owned and administered by the College Board, the objective of which is to measure the high school student’s academic aptitude for entering university.

SAT mocks are held online one or two weeks prior to the official exam. These mocks allow a possible estimation of the mark the student might obtain in the official exam. Those who are taking the SAT in that period will be informed in advance of the date and time the mock exam will take place so they can save their seat.

The BMAT (BioMedical Admissions Test) is an aptitude test used as part of the admission process for Medicine, Biomedical Sciences and Dentistry in some universities in the United Kingdom, Spain, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hungary, Croatia and the Netherlands.

The ACT (American College Testing) is a standardized test used to enter university in the United States. The test covers four academic skill areas: English, math, reading, and scientific reasoning.

The GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) is a standardized and adaptive test that constitutes one of the admission requirements in graduate schools in the United States and in other English speaking countries.

The SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test) is an admissions test administered by “The Enrolment Management Association” in the United States to students from 6th grade and up. Its objective is to provide a standardized measure of student performance for admission to independent or private schools in the US.

The HSPT (High School Placement Test) is administered locally by private high schools and districts in the United States, as part of their student admissions process. This test is designed to be taken by eighth grade students.

A 6-week intensive course especially designed to prepare the student in all the aspects that the main Venezuelan universities evaluate.

We are offering this preparation in varying class modalities, either in groups or personalized (at home or remote).

We will discuss in detail the frequency, duration, schedule and dynamics of the classes, in our introductory meeting for Educational Counseling, as well as the necessary materials and equipment.
